Tok-Pokki is a commercial product visualization project developed from a ready-made brief for a Korean-inspired food product. The goal was to create a series of vibrant, appetizing product shots that present the dish in a playful, energetic, and contemporary way, with a strong visual connection to Korean and broader Asian pop culture
The visual direction was developed collaboratively with the project team, including decisions around composition, product presentation, character placement, camera angles, lighting, and overall image language
A major part of the process was finding the right balance between food appeal, colorful packaging, dramatic lighting, steam, glossy textures, and a playful urban atmosphere. The imagery was developed through extensive prompt exploration and multiple rounds of generation until the desired compositions and visual qualities were achieved and approved by the team
The project was created using an AI-assisted image-making workflow, combining ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Google Gemini, and Adobe Photoshop. Photoshop was used throughout the finishing process, including composition adjustments, object transformations, background expansion, color work, and final image refinement
The result is a set of polished commercial food visuals aimed at a young audience interested in Asian food, bold flavors, Korean culture, and visually distinctive products
